Taxis are expensive; Uber or Lyft may be a cheaper option.

> Cost: Hotel, Transportation, and a $50/person fee for a welcome reception, one lunch, and farewell dinner.

> Security:  If you or your guest does not have a retired military ID, we will need to make special arrangements in advance to access the base.  Please let us know you don't have your own access to the base NLT 1 Aug 2018.

> Any reason to stay longer in Dayton? The Hope Hotel will honor the

> group rate for three days before and after the reunion.  Dayton is the

> center of the National Aviation Heritage Area,

> which has many interesting aviation

> heritage sites, related to the Wright Brothers.  Many people tour the

> National Museum of the US Air Force, for 2-3

> days.  The museum includes a most amazing 19 acres of Air Force

> history, and provides free motorized carts on a first-come, first

> serve basis. A short distance to the east is Yellow Springs, rated as

> the most unique, little town in Ohio.  Just to the south of Dayton,

> for family fun, is Kings Island Amusement Park and Entertrainment

> Junction, claiming the largest model train display in the world.
